0sec is a voice calendar assistant developed by Roman Potemin. This policy explains how the app and 0sec.app process your information. For privacy questions or requests, contact poteminr@gmail.com.

AI processing and sharing

0sec uses third-party AI services to transcribe voice commands, understand requests, generate responses and help create, find, update or delete calendar events. The information shared depends on the command and the features you use.

• Voice audio and the resulting transcription.
• Your current request and recent assistant conversation, including relevant calendar tool results.
• Calendar context such as event titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions or notes, participants and calendar identifiers.
• Language and time-zone context needed to interpret your request.
• Saved scheduling preferences and conversation content used to update assistant memory, when memory is enabled.

Command text, conversation context, relevant calendar results and optional assistant memory are sent through 0sec's servers to OpenAI for AI processing. When cloud transcription is used, recordings are sent through 0sec's servers to OpenAI. Apple Speech may also process recordings on Apple's servers under Apple's terms and the system speech-recognition permission. Some transcription can take place on your device; this does not make the subsequent AI calendar request fully on-device.

OpenAI and Apple handle information under the terms and data controls applicable to their services. See OpenAI API data controls and Apple speech and dictation privacy. Provider processing or retention can continue after a request completes; this policy does not promise zero retention by every provider.

Your permission and controls

When 0sec presents its AI permission sheet, choosing Allow AI authorizes the sharing described above. Closing or dismissing that sheet does not grant permission. AI voice commands require cloud AI processing.

In app versions that include the AI processing control, you can withdraw permission in Settings > AI processing. This blocks new AI requests. It does not undo processing already performed, delete information previously sent, or reverse calendar changes. Older app versions may not include these consent controls; update the app to use the available controls, or contact us for help with privacy requests.

Microphone, speech-recognition and calendar permissions are controlled separately in iOS Settings. You can disable assistant memory and review or clear local history and saved memory using the available app controls. Declining AI processing does not itself disconnect your calendars or erase their events.

Other information we process

We use an app-generated identifier, device and app information, language, time zone, subscription status and command-access records to operate the service. We do not require an email address to use the assistant. If you contact support, we process your email address and message to respond.

Operational events may include onboarding progress, feature usage, purchases and subscriptions, command outcomes, errors, latency, model usage and cost. These records may be linked to the app-generated identifier. We use them to provide the service, troubleshoot problems, maintain security and understand how features perform.

The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and website use. This may involve cookies or similar technologies and information such as browser, device, page visits and network information, subject to browser settings and Google's terms. Website measurement is separate from AI permission in the app.

Service providers and protection

We use OpenAI for cloud AI services; Apple for system services, Apple Calendar and subscriptions; Google when you connect Google Calendar; RevenueCat for subscription management; and Fly.io and Supabase for backend hosting and operational data. Google also provides website analytics. Calendar providers receive the reads and changes you request through their services.

We share information with service providers as needed for these purposes and use technical, organizational and contractual safeguards to protect it. Providers acting on our behalf must limit processing to the services they provide and protect personal information consistently with this policy and their applicable data-protection commitments. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections.

We do not sell personal data or use your calendar and voice content for cross-app advertising. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or at your direction.

Retention and deletion

Local history and assistant memory may remain on your device until you clear them through the app's controls. Calendar events remain with your connected calendar provider until you change or delete them.

Backend command records, cached responses, subscription records, usage events and diagnostic logs may be retained as needed to operate and secure the service, resolve issues and meet legal obligations. Providers may retain information under their own applicable service terms and account data controls. Deleting the app or withdrawing AI permission does not automatically delete backend or provider-held records.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by 0sec, contact poteminr@gmail.com. We may need to verify that a request relates to your data. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security or transaction-record purposes.

Your rights and children

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to or restrict processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Information may be processed outside your country by the service providers described above. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes and will show the revised date on this page. Material changes to AI recipients, data categories or purposes may require updated notice and permission in the app.
